Drawing and Painting Studio

Tuition: $350 for 4 classes.
When: Wednesdays from 12:30PM to 3:30PM
Students can sign up in four-week increments
Model fee is included in the tuition.
This class runs from September 3rd to May 27th.

In this ongoing studio workshop, students will have a chance to draw and paint in a relaxed, welcoming environment while receiving hands-on critique, live demonstrations, and weekly lectures. Each month, we will progress from drawing to painting, focusing first on still-life and landscape before moving on to portrait/figure from a live model. Lectures will cover a wide range of topics appealing to both the beginning and advanced artist, with the goal that everyone will learn something new (and useful!) each week of the year.

This class is studio style (practical). Each week you will engage in painting a model. The practice/assignment will remain the same and around that structure you grow and develop your skill, taste, and voice. Felicia offers guidance in the form of advice, philosophy, and demonstration as you need it throughout this practice.
