And since 2020 Felicia has offered private creative coaching online - helping artists do just that! Find their voices, build effective and satisfying practices, and create cohesive bodies of work. She now brings the coaching and the technical training together into a live class setting.

 

Your voice is found in both the small actions in paint: technique, marks, and problem solving as well as in the subject matter and overarching themes you choose. You uncover these essential characteristics in your work by strengthening your intuition, calming the nervous system and allowing curiosity to inspire the structure of your practice.

 

This class is studio style (practical). Each week you will engage in painting a model in a scene. The practice/ assignment will remain the same and around that structure you grow and develop your skill, taste, and voice. Felicia offers guidance in the form of advice, philosophy, and demonstration as you need it throughout this practice.
