Intro: The Chameleon We will get to know each other, class expectations, and have fun with an introductory lesson learning how to start our watercolor journey. Students will learn how to prepare their work, get familiar with materials, how to begin their sketch using thumbnails, and mix their paints and finish detail with pencil. The Chameleon, and other similar lizards, have striking combinations of colors on their bodies. No matter how you choose to mix your color, it will look right on the colorful Chameleon, and help you get a feel for mixing your colors and gain confidence through this exercise. for adults and seniors. - Display of Student Project Examples: A small table with example scrolls or cards to show what students will make in the full course. - Enrollment Invitation: Explain what the 6-week class includes, benefits for each age group, and how to sign up. - Optional: Parents and students can take home a small practice sheet. Appeal Notes: - Families/Kids: Hands-on “try it” moment feels like art play. - Teens: Cool factor of brush lettering + cultural element. - Adults/Designers: Live demo of line quality, tools, and technique. - Retirees: Calm, scenic, meditative activity with cultural depth.
